Dr. Andrea Ray was born in Canada but grew up in Canton, SD. She attended South Dakota State University for her undergraduate degree and received her veterinary degree from the distinguished Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine. After graduation she joined a practice in central Iowa and in 2009 joined the Tea Veterinary Clinic. Dr. Ray's veterinary interests include internal medicine, preventative care, and surgery. While Dr. Ray's focus is in small animal medicine she also has extensive knowledge of horse care, training and health. In her free time Dr. Ray enjoys riding horses, running, outdoor activities, listening to music and attending live concerts. Her beloved pets included a cat, Gracie Lou Freebush and a horse named Poco.

Kelsea grew up in Alpena, SD. She knew she wanted to be a Veterinary Technician because she loves helping care for animals and educate their owners on how to provide top notch care for their pets. She has an Associates Degree in Applied Science from Globe and a Bachelors Degree of Exercise Science from DSU in Madison. At the clinic she really enjoys lab work, blood draws, and assisting with surgery and anesthesia. Her family includes fiancé Shawn, their dog Piper a French bulldog/ Chihuahua mix who is full of energy but doesn't miss a nap, German Shorthair Lucy, a cat Mortimor, and their son Rogen. She also has 4 sisters she grew up with. When she isnt at work health and fitness is very important to her, she really enjoys helping other people reach their fitness goals and become more educated on how to get and maintain a healthy lifestyle.
Erica grew up in Worthing, SD and attended high school in Canton. She has always loved being around animals and wanted to work somewhere that she could make an impact on animals. At the clinic she really enjoys helping with the different breeds of dogs with their varied personalities and seeing pets and their owners leave happy. Her family includes her husband Ryan along with three Australian Cattle Dogs, Rudy who is obsessed with fetch, Bandit who is a shy sweetheart, and Roxy who loves to get into trouble on the farm. She also has three cats Oscar, Houston and Ollie and two horses. In her free time she enjoys camping, boating, running and horseback riding.
Anlee grew up right here in Tea, SD. She learned how to groom dogs through hands on training. Her favorite part of grooming is making pets feel and look better then when they came in. She has been a groomer since 2004. At the clinic she does all the grooming, helps out with things around the clinic and in her spare time plays with the dogs and cats here for boarding. Her family includes son Devyn, pit bull Loky, a tarantula, flat-tailed gecko and 2 frilled dragons.When she is not at work she enjoys many outdoor activities including volleyball and swimming as well as taking care of her creatures.
Kendra grew up in Worthington, Minnesota on a farm with many animals surrounding her, she always had a passion for helping the sick kittens. She graduated from Globe University in 2012 with an associates degree in Veterinary Technology and previously worked at Coble Animal Hospital in Springfield, Illinois as a technician for almost four years. At the clinic she assists the doctors and the other technicians. She enjoys venipuncture, surgery, anesthesia, microscopic slides and finds dentals to be very rewarding for pets. Her family includes her husband Christopher, a daughter Lily and another baby girl on the way. She has one cat named Bartlebee (B-cats) who loves to sit and watch the squirrels from their sliding door. Family is everything to Kendra so her interests include going to parks, fishing, and swimming at waterparks with her family.
Jodi grew up in Rock Valley, Iowa and currently attends college at SDSU for her undergrad in Veterinary Medicine. Jodi has always had a passion for animals growing up and plans to become a Veterinarian in her future. At the clinic Jodi enjoys taking care of the boarding dogs and cats and helping the technicians prep for surgery along with post op care. Jodi lives with her parents on a farm by Rock Valley where they have feedlot cattle and crops to take care of. She has two older brothers and two nephews. Her pets include her beautiful Palomino horse Timmy. Jodi enjoys being a council member of the Pre-vet club at SDSU, and also enjoys riding horse, reading, and spending time with friends.
Shawny grew up in Sioux Falls, SD where she currently lives. She became a groomer assistant because she loves animals and she really enjoys getting to meet new pets every single day at work. Here at the clinic she assists the groomer with prepping the dogs before their haircuts. She loves to see the different types of dogs and their personalities and she enjoys learning new things every day. Her family includes her 12 year old son and her handsome 3 year old Pit Bull named Apollo who are both wild and crazy and keeping her on her toes at all times, with their never being a dull moment at home. Her personal interests include sports and any kind of good competition. She also enjoys doing crafts and all around being creative.
